Office Manager Maternity Cover
Take responsibility for the smooth running of our small, busy office where your professionalism, initiative and office skills will be welcomed.
Your full-time role will include providing a full range of office management duties including:
day-to-day running of the office
administrative support to the Office
staff management, including personnel file management, recruitment, holiday authorisation, HR advice etc.
accounts admin and credit control
Sales administration and quoting from incoming enquiries
Petty cash handling
Applicants must have:
experience with Electronic accounts systems, ideally Xero or similar computerised packages
experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Publisher
excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
a positive disposition.
This is a position to cover maternity leave, however there may be the opportunity for a permanent role.
Working hours are 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday. Start date: 1st December or soon after.
Tank Installers Mate
this is a physically demanding job, working outdoors during the year to assist in oil storage tank installs, bases, pipework and services associated with domestic and commercial oil fire heating, fuel storage and water tanks.
On the job training will be given, working towards an OFTEC qualification and other industry related qualifications will be made available.
All domestic and commercial fuel storage installation and services STS Ltd offer. Working alongside team leader, adhering to Oftec regulations where required and STS’ standard practice.
Below are the key responsibilities but do not consider the list exhaustive:
Assist Team Leaders with site work booked in diary on a day to day basis,. Work will include groundworks (preparing and pouring concrete bases with finishing), heavy lifting and carrying of materials to site with regular hand digging required
Complete all work in a timely fashion with customers and their properties treated with respect and left in tidy state
Drive to and from site alongside team leader in company vehicle.
Yard and stores to be kept in a tidy state, liaising with Yard coordinator and keeping stock level maintained
Ensure team vehicles are kept in safe operation, liaising with drivers on a regular basis and equipped with required tools, tanks, gauges etc.
Work in accordance with and take responsibility for H&S regulations set out by HSE and STS, complying at all times
Personally responsible for PPE issued by STS
Regular communication with all staff on progress throughout the day, reporting any problems / amendments to works.
Hours of work
7:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. The need to be flexible with finishing time is also required
