Diesel Tank Fuel Polishing Unit.

Diesel fuel polisher unit is also called the Tank Kidney. This is a perfect solution to keep diesel fuel in top condition, thus preventing stagnating diesel. The diesel fuel recirculation unit will filter out any diesel bug and contaminants. Regularly cleaning the fuel by 1.5 x tank capacity every 28 days ensures a safety margin. Therefore, preventing any damage or downtime that might come from polluted or contaminated fuel entering a vehicle or machine engine.

This is ideal for diesel fuel that sits, unused, for long periods of time, such as backup fire-fighting sprinkler pumps and generator diesel tanks used for critical power. When fuel sits stagnant for long periods of time, microbial growth, known as diesel bugs, begins to form. These growths join together to create a nasty biofilm. By keeping the fuel moving and free of contaminants and water particles that can get sucked into fuel pumps, equipment and engine filters and injector pumps. Thus, avoiding costly damage and downtime.

On-Tank Diesel Polisher & Conditioner.

The fuel storage tank circulation system draws the fuel up from the tank through the magnetic conditioner, which shocks the bugs. This breaks them down into a size that will pass through two-stage water and particle filtration process to remove the impurities. The cleaner "polished" fuel is then circulated back into the tank before the bugs can re-group and create the nasty sludge.

The Fuel polishing recirculation unit has an input for connecting to an alarm/gauge to detect a low fuel level and a leak probe for a drip tray (if installed). Benefiting from a control panel with large, coloured warning lights, any issues that need to be dealt with i.e. filter blocked, low fuel level, a leak or a system fault can be easily diagnosed. If the system identifies any of these issues, the pump will turn off until the required action has been taken. Complete with two BMS outputs, the control panel can also send a signal of this to warn users remotely.
